1. Who we are and what we do

JobMatch Ireland is an online tool that compares a CV you upload against a job description you paste in, and returns an AI-assisted analysis: a match score, matching skills, missing keywords, suggested CV improvements, a draft cover letter and practice interview questions.

We are not an employer, recruiter, recruitment agency, employment agency or job board. We do not advertise vacancies, represent employers, or forward your CV to anyone. Any job description you use comes from you or from a third party, and we have no control over its accuracy or whether the role is still open.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
  • You must give accurate account information and keep it up to date.
  • One account per person. You are responsible for everything done through your account.

3. Your account

Keep your password confidential and tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to your account. We verify your email address at sign-up and may require you to confirm it before you can use paid features.

4. Acceptable use

Our Acceptable Use Policy forms part of these terms. In short: don't break the law, don't upload someone else's CV without their permission, don't attempt to access other people's data, and don't abuse the AI or our APIs.

5. Your content and who owns it

  • You keep ownership of your CV, your documents and anything else you upload. We claim no ownership of them.
  • You give us only the limited permission we need to store your files, extract their text, send that text to our AI provider for analysis, generate your results, and show everything back to you.
  • We do not sell your CV or your personal data, and we do not use your CV or analyses for advertising.
  • We do not use your CV or analyses to train AI models. If that ever changes we will tell you first, set out the lawful basis, and ask for your consent where consent is required — it will never happen silently.
  • You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload.

6. Our intellectual property

The JobMatch Ireland website, branding, software and the design of our analysis reports belong to us. You may use your own reports freely, including sharing them with employers. You may not copy or resell the service itself.

7. AI limitations — please read

JobMatch uses AI-assisted technology to analyse your CV against a job description and provide career-related suggestions. AI-generated results are provided for informational and career-support purposes and should be reviewed by you before use.

Results are automated and may contain errors or omissions. Always check them before you rely on them. We do not guarantee any outcome, including:

  • Employment
  • Interviews
  • Job offers
  • Salary increases
  • Application success

Our analysis is not professional legal, immigration, financial, medical or employment-law advice, and a match score is not an objective measure of your employability. Full detail is in our AI Use Policy.

8. Plans, credits and payment

  • Free: 1 analysis, no payment required.
  • Monthly: €4.99 per month, 5 analyses per month.
  • Annual: €39.99 per year, 10 analyses per year, with unused analyses rolling over up to the annual cap shown on the pricing page.
  • Prices shown to customers include Irish VAT where VAT applies.
  • One credit means one completed CV-versus-job-description analysis.
  • A credit is consumed when an analysis is submitted for processing. If the AI fails before producing a result, the credit is automatically returned to your balance.
  • Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. We tell you the renewal date in your account.
  • Card details are handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

Payment buttons state clearly that you are starting a paid subscription before you confirm. We never pre-tick optional paid extras.

9. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel at any time from your account. See the Cancellation & Refund Policy for when cancellation takes effect, how the EU 14-day withdrawal right applies to a digital service that starts immediately, and how to ask us for a refund. Nothing in these terms removes or limits your statutory consumer rights.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or our Acceptable Use Policy, or where we reasonably suspect fraud or abuse. Where it is appropriate and lawful to do so, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond. You can close your own account at any time from Account → Privacy & data.

11. Service availability and changes

We aim to keep the service available but we do not promise uninterrupted access. Maintenance, third-party outages and events outside our control can interrupt it. We may change or improve features; if we make a change that materially reduces what you have paid for, you may cancel and ask us about a proportionate refund.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms — for example when the service or the law changes. We will update the "last updated" date, and for significant changes affecting a paid subscription we will notify you by email before they take effect.

13. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for your mandatory rights as a consumer under Irish and EU law.

Subject to that: we are not liable for a hiring decision made by an employer, for the content or accuracy of a job description you supply, or for losses caused by relying on AI-generated suggestions without checking them. Where we are liable, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, except where the law requires otherwise.

14. Complaints

Contact us at support@jobmatchireland.ie or through our contact page. We aim to respond within 2 business days. If you are unhappy with the outcome, the contact page explains the external bodies you can go to.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland and disputes may be brought before the courts of Ireland. As a consumer, you may also have the right to bring proceedings in the country where you live, and that right is unaffected.
